More Information (Lincs Sound is not responsible for external websites)

This workshop is an introduction to wet felting with wool and silk fibres.

Spend the first part of the class playing with colours and textures! Choose your favourite blue, purple, grey and white wool pieces from my box and learn how to layer the many colours of wool to create wave like lines in the wool. Choose colourful silk threads, rods and hankies to create shine and sparkle in the finished piece. Layer the wool with natural wool curls for the crests of the waves.

Wet felting begins with hot soapy water poured over your layers of wool, then learn how to agitate, roll and throw the piece to make the wool fibres felt and shrink. The finished piece will be approximately a4 size.

This class is great for beginners because in 2 hours you are able to create a finished piece. Please note that this wet felting only, see other felting workshops to learn more!

Please note:

We will be using a tiny amount of fairy liquid during the wet felting process, please bring gloves if it irritates your skin.
